ICC CERTIFIED to the building code requirements of the ICC, IRC, BOCAI, SBCCI, and ICBO. Also conforms to the flood insurance requirements of FEMA and the National Flood Insurance Program for automatic relief of hydrostatic pressure on the foundation walls due to rising or falling floodwaters. FEMA and the NFIP require this feature for all buildings located within a floodplain or areas prone to flooding. Smart VENT^®: Used when Flood protection and
ventilation are both required.

• Louvers and screen automatically rotate out of the path of flood water, providing the required 3” diameter of completely unobstructed open area for flood water to enter and exit.
• Temperature controlled louvers automatically open in warm weather and close in cold
• Provides 50 sq inches of net free area for air ventilation, temperature control and radon evacuation

Overhead Door VENT™: Mounted in an overhead
garage door.

• The vent can be placed in a standard overhead garage door.
• The easiest way to add vents and comply to NFIP flood vent requirements
• Used when wall space is at a minimum, as in a townhouse or condominium
• Insulated door minimizes heat or air conditioning loss from entries and garages
• Two vents provides 400 square feet of flood protection
• Ideal for retrofit into an existing garage door.

All Models have the following features:

• 8”x16” vents are certified as an engineered opening to cover 200 sq. ft of enclosed area below flood level
• Easily stackable to a 16” X 16” configuration for 400 Sq. Ft of  coverage in one opening.
• Provides automatic entry and exit of floodwaters to relieve hydrostatic pressure
• Two patented floats automatically release with rising water and open the Bi-directional flood door
• Flood door automatically rotate out of the path of flood water, providing the required 3” diameter of completely unobstructed open area for flood water to enter and exit.
